Trainers & Coaches

 

 Dr. Brian Cullen is the primary trainer and coach at Standing in Spirit and has lived and worked in Japan since 1991. He is a master practioner, trainer, coach and consultant of NLP. He is also certified as a life coach. He has trained with many respected NLP trainers including Robert Dilts, Judith DeLozier, Suzi Smith, Michael Colgrass, Richard Bolstad, Lynn Timpany and Julia Kurusheva. Brian has a wide range of NLP experience in Japan and internationally in both personal and business applications. Brian is a Fellow Trainer Member of IANLP, a Coach member of the International Institute of Coaching Institutes, and a trainer member of the International Association of NLP Institutes as well as the Global Training Consultancy Community. As a songwriter and musician, he has also written many songs for use in NLP applications including Time Line Therapy and Parts Integration.
  Daiju Yokoe (DJ) is the Director of ATJ (Alexander Technique Japan), NLPJ (NLP Japan) and Nagoya Escool (Alternative school for children). DJ began his training in NLP in 1995 with Richard Bolstad. From 2004 through 2006, he worked closely with BB (a long-term student of John Grinder) for 2 and half years, establishing and running trainings in New Code NLP. As well as his extensive experience in NLP, DJ has been a certified teacher and teacher trainer of the Alexander Technique since 2003. As an educator of children, he has over 25 years of experience. After working as a science teacher in high school, he embraced alternative models of education and founded Nagoya Escool for teenagers in 1992. In his work with clients and in trainings, he combines rich layers of  techniques from fields including NLP, the Alexander Technique, Chi Gong, and Feng-shui. DJ likes to describe himself as a Healing Medicine Man,as well, a crazy musician and a climber of mountains.
  Sarah Mulvey is an NLP practitioner and coach. Her wide experience and interest in continually learning is well illustrated by having been certified as an NLP practitioner by three different schools of NLP including the American University of NLP and Dr. Matthew James of the Empowerment Partnership. Sarah did her practitioner certification with Dr. Matthew James in Canada. She has a masters in creative writing from Lancaster University and one of her specialities is using NLP to help writers to reach their goals smoothly and effectively.
